That's our festivals' river cruise editions exploring some of Europe's most charming and historical places while sailing along picturesque waterways and countrysides. This week-long cruise aboard the luxury AMADEUS Star begins and ends in stately Imperial Vienna – Austria's capital. Visit grand European cities like Bratislava, Budapest and Linz and admire the beauty of UNESCO protected Wachau Valley and the Danube-knee at Visegrad. Taste local specialities such as ”Linzer Torte”, ”Sacher Torte” and Austrian wines. Admire imposing architectural buildings along the banks, such as Melk Abbey and the Esztergom Basilica. Be romanced by the Danube with all her regal and romantic splendor as you cruise through the art and cultural landscape of Europe’s several thousand year history.
