German guitarist Christoph Lindner has worked as a sideman and studio player besides being a songwriter for several releases. He took lessons e.g. with the renowned professor for jazz guitar Heiner Beringmeier and graduated from the course of study for popular music at the academy for music in Hamburg. Since he has been working as a professional musician, he has toured Europe and Canada with various artists and played on albums of such big names like Marla Glenn, Michael Bolton, Andy Fraser or Bobby Kimball. Besides from playing guitar on Jingles, Trailers and film scores for TV he was booked for several tours like the European Rocky Horror Show and for numerous musical shows and plays like Mamma Mia, Hairspray or Miami Nights. In addition, he played hundreds of clinics and shows (e.g. NAMM Show LA) for Yamaha and other brands. Since 2008, Chris has been endorser for the boutiqueamp-and effectsmanufacterer Tonehunter. Last but not least, he writes and produces his own music, e.g. instrumental CD’s like “Grooving Bone Guitars” or the “Threeopatic” album of his trio Lindybunch (together with Simon Scheibel (drums) and Martin Zänder (bass).
